You start in finHero and see which data sources are connected and which periods have already been exported.
Stripe data source
You see how a Stripe account is integrated as a data source – in practice via the finHero app in the Stripe App Marketplace.
Accounts and rules
You see where the chart of accounts (SKR03/SKR04), your own accounts and account assignment rules are stored.
Choose the period
You select the month to be handed over to your tax firm.
Generate the export
finHero generates the DATEV booking batch and collects the matching receipts as PDFs.
Download the result
At the end there is an export package that you pass on to your tax firm or have imported into DATEV yourself.

What's in the export from the finHero demo
An export consists of a DATEV booking batch in CSV format, the receipts as PDFs and a receipt list. The table shows in simplified form how payments, fees, refunds and payouts appear as individual bookings (SKR03, agree accounts with your tax firm).

No, the demo shows sample data. With your own Stripe account, you'll see your real payments, fees and payouts during the trial period.
Which files will I get later with a real export?
A DATEV booking batch in CSV format, the receipts (invoices, credit notes, cancellations) as PDFs and a receipt list. Receipts and bookings are linked via the transaction ID.
Does finHero also work with other payment providers?
Yes. In addition to Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, Adyen, Paddle and Lemon Squeezy can be connected via a read-only API key.
